This is the one thing you HAVE to do for yourself.
Actually, you don’t wan’t anyone doing it for you. Even more importantly, do it so that others don’t think they need to jump in and help you out. When that happens, you really get angry – why are they meddling in my life?!
Here’s a tip: If you keep your mind and attitude tuned up, people won’t bother you.
It’s more important than daily washing.
People can tolerate body odor better than they can a sour attitude. You wash and shower every day, shave and brush your teeth, and put on clean clothes for a nice appearance. But don’t neglect the attitude check. Take a look in the mirror – what expression is on your face?
The main question: Are you excited?
If you’re not, that’s your fault, and it’s your job to fix it – Your job. You aren’t a victim, so do what’s necessary to get yourself on track – excited – looking forward to the upcoming activities. Anything standing in the way of you having energy and anticipation needs to be addressed, because here’s the bottom line – if you aren’t excited, you’re worthless.
In life, everyone is either a plus or a minus.
You either make things better or make things worse. In every situation, you will make things better or worse, primarily based on your attitude. People carrying around a bad attitude are automatic downers. They can’t help it. They don’t mean to be a drag, but they definitely are. The reason is that at that moment, they are absorbed in themselves and their problems.
In that condition, they won’t be any good to anyone else. They need to disappear and get straightened out. And they have to do it right – they can’t drift. You’re an adult. No excuses. Get excited. Stay excited.
