To do great things in life requires a team.
Of course the leader is important, but no matter how great ‘Rambo’ is there’s a limit to how big a war he can fight by himself.
Plus, it’s more fun with a team. If you’re locked in a room by yourself all the time it can get pretty boring. It doesn’t take long before you’ve told yourself all the jokes you know and you’ve come up with all the ideas you can think of by yourself.
The more people the more “magic.”
When talented people unite around a common goal, start talking, and working together it’s amazing how creative and productive they can be. But to a large degree, the kind of team you build will conform to the model you have in your head.
When you can see a successful team working together in a way that you like, it can instantly give you a tremendous advantage in creating your own blueprint for the team you want. You can get ideas from books, but when you see one in action you like, it’s a whole lot better.
